Operated by Healthscope, the hospital is designed to provide optimal patient safety and experience, while also offering meaningful management and operational efficiencies.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Workforce Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the Medical Workforce Unit, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective administration services, including:

  • Junior Medical Officer (JMO) recruitment, training, and education, rostering, payroll, and onboarding
  • Supporting the delivery of clinical services across the hospital and liaising with key stakeholders at NBH, NSW Health, and Healthscope
Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Workforce Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Administering JMO rosters to ensure equitable and cost-effective scheduling
  • Managing the payroll system for JMOs, including data entry and verification of rosters
  • Coordinating JMO recruitment, onboarding, and credentialing processes
  • Providing administrative support, including preparing reports, newsletters, and correspondence
  • Assisting with junior and senior medical staff enquiries, orientation, and wellbeing
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent work experience in a medical workforce or hospital setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Medical Workforce Unit Manager and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and learn quickly
  • Proven ability to manage workload in a high-volume environment with competing priorities
