We are currently seeking skilled Occupational Therapists to join our casual workforce. Candidates should possess experience in an acute healthcare setting and demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver outstanding evidence-based clinical care to both public and private patients.
· Collaborate effectively with Medical Officers, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely assessments and treatments.
· Provide Occupational Therapy interventions across a diverse patient population, including those in surgical, medical, critical care, emergency, and neurology departments.
· Coordinate with referrers, staff, families, and external agencies to facilitate independent living and safe discharge planning.
· Clearly communicate assessment findings and management plans through verbal and written reports.
· Engage in quality improvement initiatives and participate in professional development programs as needed.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
· Current registration with AHPRA.
· Proven clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and discharge planning within an acute care environment.
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Excellent organizational, time management, and self-management skills.
· Commitment to teamwork across disciplines.
· Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
· Dedication to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
