Job Title:

After Hours Staffing Facilitator

Description

This role is situated within our after-hours support service, providing a responsive service to residential care, home-based care, lead tenant and case management programs.

The position operates from our Preston site and reports to the respective Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • To have knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, and awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
  • Experience in youth services or residential care is essential.
  • To be able to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Understanding of OH&S issues in the workplace is necessary.

Requirements
  • A valid driver's licence.
  • A satisfactory criminal history check (paid for by us).
