MacKillop National After-Hours Service supports vulnerable young people through a responsive after-hours support service. The position of Staffing Facilitator is situated within this unit, providing care and management to residential programs for young people with complex needs.
This permanent full-time opportunity (38 hours per week) is based in Preston. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, as well as awareness of current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and their families.
- Experience in youth services or residential care, enabling you to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
- Ability to comprehend and address OH&S issues in the workplace.
