We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide expert mental health services to children and adolescents in Tasmania.
About the Role:- The successful candidate will contribute to the clinical leadership and management of a Child and Adolescent Community Mental Health team.
- The role involves developing, monitoring and evaluating clinical outcome measures and overseeing designated clinical processes associated with the optimal operation of the team.
- The successful candidate will participate in multi-disciplinary team reviews of current clients and support staff in the development, monitoring and evaluation of clinical outcome measures.
- The successful candidate must have extensive experience and demonstrated specialist level knowledge of contemporary mental health nursing and an understanding of mental health issues in relation to children, adolescents and their families.
- A proven ability to provide assessments and therapeutic interventions relevant for children, adolescents and families accessing services is essential.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of other services and agencies in the context of providing specialist mental health assessment, advice and training is required.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including negotiation, conflict resolution and decision-making skills are necessary for this role.
