Civil Project Manager

You will also possess excellent consultation, conflict avoidance, and group facilitation skills, as well as experience working with Australian State Government Road Authority frameworks.

As a successful Civil Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills further by managing projects according to the Department of Transport and Main Roads' policies, standards, and specifications. You may also choose to pursue project management certification to enhance your career prospects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Lead project teams and collaborate with stakeholders, technical disciplines, and senior management.
  • Apply project management knowledge areas as per PMBOK (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resource, Communications, Risk & Procurement).
  • Develop, manage, review, and update project plans.
  • Manage project variations, changes, and costs.
  • Oversee risk management processes and develop contingency plans.
  • Monitor project progress, scope, schedule, quality, resource utilization, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
