Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Provisional Psychologist. In this role, you will work closely with injured workers to identify and address physical, psychological, social, environmental, and organisational risk factors that may impact their ability to return to work.

You will provide holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, and Vocational Assessments.

Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training, and upskilling. Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical, and other allied health professionals to ensure a successful return to work outcome.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme
  • Provide vocational rehabilitation services to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance
  • Deliver vocational counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training, and upskilling
  • Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical, and other allied health professionals
Requirements
  • Professional registration with AHPRA as either a Provisional Psychologist (currently undertaking a 4+2 or 5+1 internship pathway) or a Registered Psychologist, along with a relevant psychology qualification
  • Current driver's license and access to own transport
  • Ability to obtain a Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
