About the Role

This leadership position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced educator to drive whole-school strategies that strengthen student connection, wellbeing, attendance, and motivation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of Vision for Engagement across the school
  • Embed evidence-based practices that support student connection, motivation, wellbeing, and learning
  • Coordinate a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to meet the needs of all learners
  • Strengthen student voice and agency through initiatives like Student Commissioners
  • Build strong partnerships with families and community services
  • Guide staff professional learning in inclusive, trauma-informed, and engaging pedagogy
  • Use data to drive improvement in student attendance, wellbeing, and learning outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and leadership in a Catholic school context
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing
  • Have experience in a formally appointed leadership role in a Catholic parish primary school
  • Hold current VIT registration
  • Hold academic qualifications in addition to initial teacher education
  • Have recent and substantial experience within Catholic parish primary schools
  • Be accredited to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools
