This is a high-impact, visionary leadership role at the forefront of academic healthcare innovation. As Dean, Sub-Faculty of Clinical and Molecular Medicine, you will provide strategic direction for research, education, and engagement.

As Chief Research and Innovation Officer, Monash Health, you will drive translational research, strengthen research infrastructure, and create joint programs bridging academic and clinical domains.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional academic leadership across education, research, and community engagement.
  • Drive strategic priorities aligning with Impact 2030 and ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Enhance teaching quality and student experience, including oversight of Monash's largest MD student cohort and a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture and expand international and industry partnerships.
  • Represent the Sub-Faculty nationally and internationally, strengthening its reputation and influence.
  • Lead the integration and development of research activities across the health service.
  • Advise the Chief Executive on research strategy, governance, and infrastructure.
  • Champion translational research and innovation to achieve meaningful health outcomes.
  • Oversee research infrastructure planning to ensure long-term growth and sustainability.
  • Cultivate cross-sector collaborations that amplify the precinct's global standing.
