WorkFocus Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at WorkFocus in Darwin.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will be working within our multidisciplinary team to support clients in achieving their goals and regaining their independence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to the rehab consulting team, including report writing and other tasks
  • Designing, implementing, and monitoring programs to assist injured employees return to the workforce
  • Liaising with clients, medical practitioners, insurers, and employers to achieve outcomes beneficial for all parties
  • Assisting with various insurance schemes, including Motor Accident Schemes, Worker's Compensation, and DVA

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy, with the ability to obtain AHPRA registration as an OT upon graduation
  • Willingness to travel, with a current vehicle and driver's licence
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
