Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Darwin, working on a full-time or part-time basis.

Your Role at WorkFocus- You will work within various insurance schemes, including Motor Accident Schemes, Worker's Compensation, and DVA.
- Assist and shadow the rehab consulting team in undertaking Worksite, Functional, Ergonomic, Equipment, and Home ADL Assessments.
- Engage in report writing and other administrative tasks.
- Design, implement, and monitor programs assisting injured employees in returning to the workforce.
- Liaise with clients, medical practitioners, insurers, and employers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy program, with the ability to obtain AHPRA registration as an OT upon graduation (final year applicants preferred).
- A willingness to travel; a current vehicle and driver's license are essential.
