Job Opportunity

A unique role has emerged in the maintenance of public spaces and infrastructure assets.


Responsibilities

This position involves working in a team to maintain Council's Shire Presentation Infrastructure Assets, including cleaning public spaces, monitoring stockpile sites, minor concreting and paving works, waste collection, and assisting community groups and emergency responses.


Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist in the delivery of maintenance programs and activities across all infrastructure asset classes.
  • Respond to planned and reactive maintenance requests.
  • Removal of orphan waste (including asbestos) and cleaning up of sites.
  • Public place cleaning and waste collection.
  • Operate plant or equipment, including driving a truck and towing a plant trailer.

Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, a NSW Class MR Driver's licence (or willingness to obtain), and a White Card – General Construction Induction Licence (or willingness to obtain).
