Role Overview:

Civil Maintenance Workers are required to deliver maintenance services to the road network, working on tasks such as routine maintenance, minor repairs, and vegetation management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance of roads and infrastructure
  • Perform maintenance and repair of signs, drainage systems, and pavement cracks
  • Operate light rigid plant equipment for tasks like excavation and clearing
  • Participate in emergency response and clean-up operations
  • Support specialist trades and direct small road crews (Team Leaders only)
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Current driver's license is essential
  • General Construction Induction Card is a must
  • MR or HR Truck licence is required
  • Desirable skills include traffic control tickets, operating licenses, and working at heights certifications
