About the Role

As a Career Navigator with our organization, you will work closely with participants to explore their career aspirations, build confidence, and support them into meaningful employment.

  • Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
  • Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health condition.
  • Engage and work with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
  • Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
  • Promote our organization as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
  • Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
  • Champion our values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
About You

You bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. You may have experience or a genuine passion for employment services. You're confident supporting people, building trust, and guiding them into meaningful careers.

You're outcomes-focused, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment. You enjoy understanding an employer's business, people, culture, and challenges to identify staffing solutions that fit. Your relationship-building skills help you connect with clients and employers, and you can deliver training with knowledge of inclusive employment practices.

You're proactive with marketing and networking, and you maintain accurate, professional records. Above all, you operate with integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred service.

Essential Criteria

Qualifications in Employment or Human Services – desirable

Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively

Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions

Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills

Current Driver's License - essential
