About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer OT assessments across diverse caseloads
  • Provide tailored therapy for NDIS participants
  • Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments and Supported Independent Living assessments
  • Perform Assistive Technology Assessments for equipment prescription
  • Complete progress notes and documentation
  • Deliver manual handling training and education
  • Conduct sensory assessments and implement sensory integration interventions
  • Work in school, community, and home environments
  • Enhance skills in the NDIS sector with support from experienced leaders
  • Facilitate falls prevention strategies
  • Assist with minor and complex home modifications
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of post-graduation experience in Occupational Therapy
  • Passionate about enhancing adults' quality of life and achieving their goals
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and autonomy skills
  • Flexible, adaptive, and committed to continuous professional development
  • Preferred experience and skills in NDIS, assistive technology prescription, and home modifications
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining engagement within a mobile workforce
