About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality Allied Health services to our NDIS participants in the community. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and delivering therapeutic services to participants with a range of needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of participants and deliver therapeutic services to meet their individual needs and goals.
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide support and advice on adaptations to the environment, including home, school, work, and residential facilities, to promote independence and participation.
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance and provide recommendations for the provision of Assistive Technology to support participants with functional limitations.
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
