**Job Overview**

The Workforce Analytics team plays a critical role in providing strategic workforce information, analysis and advice to support the health of Defence workforces.

This position leads a team of Workforce Planners and Data Analysts responsible for creating, importing and verifying Defence workforce data using the Cognos HR Data Warehouse and other tools. Liaising with Defence groups on strategic workforce issues, preparing responses to routine requests for information, is also a key responsibility.

Team leaders will research and analyse Defence workforce trends, develop metrics to model, measure, forecast and report on workforce health. A keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, organisational abilities and experience managing competing priorities are essential requirements for this role.
