Men's Behaviour Change Programme Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to facilitate our Men's Behaviour Change Program. This role involves working with men who have used violence in their family relationships to deliver behaviour change interventions.
Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for client engagement, risk assessment, and safety planning, as well as group work facilitation and case management. They will work collaboratively with other team members to enhance the safety of women, children, and other family members.
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote trust and understanding.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to identify potential risks and develop effective safety plans.
- Group Work Facilitation: Lead group sessions to deliver behaviour change interventions and support clients in achieving their goals.
- Case Management: Coordinate with external agencies and provide ongoing support to clients to ensure their needs are met.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A relevant qualification in Social Work or a related field.
- Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Strong skills in group work facilitation, case management, and risk assessment.
- Knowledge of the impacts of family violence on family members and the broader community.
- Ability to work effectively with complex clients, including defusing, self-management, and reflective practice.
