Men's Behaviour Change Facilitator Opportunity

At Better Health Network, we are seeking a skilled and empathetic Men's Behaviour Change Facilitator to join our Family Violence Program. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for creating meaningful change in the lives of individuals and families.

Job Description:

We are looking for a facilitator who can co-facilitate evening groups and provide centre-based group work to men who use violence in the home. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our integrated Family Violence team, including Women's and Children's Family Violence Counsellors and Family Safety Contact Workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-facilitate group sessions aligned with No to Violence (NTV) practice standards
  • Partner with women's and children's services for referral, safety planning, and family support
  • Liaise with justice, legal, and community services to support clients' pathways
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with program standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Social Work or related discipline
  • Experience facilitating Men's Behaviour Change Programs (MBCP)
  • Strong understanding of family violence frameworks and risk assessment
  • Case management experience and familiarity with referral pathways
