Your Key Responsibilities- Supporting site-wide hazardous area compliance reviews to ensure safety protocols are met.
- Assisting in the design and delivery of end-of-life electrical system upgrades to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
- Contributing to electrical protection assessments and arc flash studies to identify potential risks.
- Delivering capital projects such as PCS server upgrades, coal unloading system improvements, and I/O enhancements to drive business growth.
- Participating in the modernisation of legacy systems and strengthening electrical reliability to support long-term operations.
- Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders across departments to ensure projects meet technical, safety, and operational requirements.
- Beginning in the Capital Projects team in Tasmania and rotating to Queensland in the second year.
- Completed or near completion of a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
- A strong interest in complex infrastructure projects and hands-on problem-solving.
- A keen attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
- The ability to collaborate across disciplines and work on high-impact initiatives.
- An eagerness to develop expertise in compliance, systems modernisation, and protection systems.
- A proactive attitude, openness to feedback, and motivation to grow into a future leader.
- A willingness to relocate for site rotations, with support provided for moves.
