Your role Responsibilities Delivering Cement Australia's $106 million Railton Operations Decarbonisation Project, including major upgrades to plant and equipment and investment in new infrastructure for alternative fuels.
Gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of the cement-making process.
Participating in electrical engineering design, construction, commissioning, and integration into operations.
Embedding compliance and safety into all design to ensure operational readiness.
Assisting in the design, installation, commissioning, and programming of large-scale variable speed drives.
Designing and managing electrical hazardous area installations.
Developing and optimising automation and control concepts.
Analysing data and problem-solving technical issues.
Assisting in major projects and shutdown work, with opportunities to develop leadership skills.
Collaborating with teams across two integrated cement plants, starting in Railton (TAS) and moving to Gladstone (QLD) in the second year.
About you Qualifications Completed or be near completion of a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering (Dual Degree) Electrical and Electronic, or Bachelor of Engineering Power.
A strong interest in complex infrastructure projects and hands-on problem solving.
Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
Enjoyment of collaboration across disciplines and working on high-impact initiatives.
Eagerness to develop expertise in compliance, systems modernisation, and protection systems.
Proactive attitude, openness to feedback, and motivation to grow into a future leader.
Willingness to relocate for rotations, with support provided for moves to Railton (TAS) and Gladstone (QLD).
