H3 Strategic Partnership Project Officer

This role is part of a collaborative partnership focused on addressing homelessness in Wyndham. The project officer will be responsible for facilitating collaboration and joint advocacy among key stakeholders.

  • The successful candidate will provide strategic advice to support the partnership's objectives, while overseeing the coordination and delivery of key initiatives with stakeholders.

  • They will engage with local organisations and individuals to leverage expertise and ensure that the views of people who have experienced homelessness are influential in decision-making and advocacy efforts.

  • The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across government, business, and community sectors.

Key requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in public policy, social sciences, community development, or related fields, coupled with several years' experience in project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of current policy landscape affecting health, housing, and homelessness.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic documents based on local data and evidence, describing the impact of collaboration among local services.
  • Vast experience in developing social policies and planning responses, with a proven track record in creating, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating public policies alongside multiple stakeholders.
