Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Coordinator
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. As a key service driver, you will deliver timely, efficient, and accurate payroll services, ensuring compliance with legislative and industrial agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end payroll processing, including administrative tasks, ensuring adherence to relevant industrial agreements and legislative requirements.
- Accurately process payroll adjustments, master data changes, taxation, and superannuation contributions.
- Administer WorkCover, redundancy, and termination payments in accordance with organizational policies.
- Maintain confidentiality while setting up new employees in payroll systems and handling sensitive payroll data.
- Provide high-level customer service as a primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, serving internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, recommend changes, and drive efficiency within payroll systems.
- Collaborate with Workplace Relations, Human Resources, and Managers for pay condition interpretations and system setups.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, report incidents, and support health and safety initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience in large, complex payroll functions, preferably within an award-based environment.
- Proficiency in payroll data preparation, entry, and processing.
- Advanced numeracy, clerical, and computer skills, with experience in Payroll Time & Attendance systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Chris21 Payroll System is desirable.
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence is required.
