Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. As a key service driver, you will deliver timely, efficient, and accurate payroll services, ensuring compliance with legislative and industrial agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end payroll processing, including administrative tasks, ensuring adherence to relevant industrial agreements and legislative requirements.
  • Accurately process payroll adjustments, master data changes, taxation, and superannuation contributions.
  • Administer WorkCover, redundancy, and termination payments in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality while setting up new employees in payroll systems and handling sensitive payroll data.
  • Provide high-level customer service as a primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, serving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, recommend changes, and drive efficiency within payroll systems.
  • Collaborate with Workplace Relations, Human Resources, and Managers for pay condition interpretations and system setups.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, report incidents, and support health and safety initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in large, complex payroll functions, preferably within an award-based environment.
  • Proficiency in payroll data preparation, entry, and processing.
  • Advanced numeracy, clerical, and computer skills, with experience in Payroll Time & Attendance systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Chris21 Payroll System is desirable.
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence is required.

Estimated Salary:$60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
