About the Role

Swinburne University of Technology is seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Talent, Organisational Development, and Remuneration, this role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end remuneration program of the University.

The successful candidate will deliver effective remuneration solutions that align with the University's business objectives, ensuring consistency, fairness, and equity across the organisation. This includes ensuring the correct application and governance of the University's remuneration frameworks, policies, and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a job evaluation framework (ideally Mercer) and build organisational capability to ensure the accurate definition and evaluation of roles.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive remuneration framework.
  • Deliver reward programs within medium to large organisations.
  • Analyse data to track market trends over time.

This role requires a solid background in developing benefits profiles and delivering compensation packages, as well as extensive experience in human resources or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary package including HEW 9 + 17% superannuation. The estimated salary range for this position is AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
