About the Role

The Sales Team Lead will oversee and lead a high-performing inside sales team, driving success through effective management, strategic guidance, and team development.

This role requires strong sales leadership, operational oversight, and a deep understanding of inside/tele sales dynamics.

The Sales Team Lead will ensure the team meets its sales targets, fosters a collaborative environment, and utilizes tools and technologies to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the inside sales team, including scheduling, training, performance management, and team development.
  • Drive sales performance by setting goals, monitoring progress, and providing timely feedback to sales executives.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM and phone systems to track sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Implement and manage rostering and workforce planning tools to optimize team efficiency and adherence.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to design and implement sales strategies that align with overall company objectives.
  • Deliver training and support to ensure the team effectively manages the sales pipeline and achieves sales targets.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and report on team performance.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of efforts and efficient resolution of customer issues.

Requirements

  • Considerable experience in inside sales or tele-sales, with at least 2-3 years in a sales leadership role.
  • Proven experience using Salesforce CRM and phone systems such as AWS Connect.
  • Experience with rostering and workforce management tools such as Verint is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of leading successful sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in sales performance analysis and reporting.
