About the Role

The Skechers Australia team is seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our Winston Hills store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for driving sales, achieving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient operation of the store to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate and coach your team to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets across stores.
  • Sales Performance: Closely monitor store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets, acknowledging outstanding results and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Wage Management: Effectively manage wage costs in store, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards.
  • Employee Development: Coach and mentor your team to maintain high team morale and encourage individual development through training and succession plans.
  • OH&S Management: Ensure efficient OH&S management and adhere to state and national OH&S legislation.

Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC.
  • Attitude: A motivated and driven 'Make it Happen' attitude, with a passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
  • Skills: A proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets, with operational excellence and experience in stock control and visual merchandising.
