Job Title:

Home Care Support Worker


About the Role:

This role involves providing carer support services and delivering services purchased through iCare. As a Disability Support Worker, you will offer reliable and person-centred support to our participants, enabling them to live independently and achieve their goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support daily activities and provide care assistance to participants.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services or related fields (an advantage but not mandatory).
  • A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle.
  • Satisfactory Police Records Check (less than 12 months old) and Working with Children Check.
  • Manual handling training desirable.
  • Rights to work in Australia.
  • Experience working with young people or teenagers.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours on a fortnightly roster.
  • Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone (iPhone or Android).
  • Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
