Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Positive Behaviour Support division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65, working across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours and develop strategies to increase skills, improve emotion regulation, and introduce replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
- Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and assessments, focusing on increasing a person's quality of life, improving their skills, and enhancing their independence.
- Work collaboratively with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for participants.
- Provide training and regular follow-up and review to ensure the successful implementation of PBS plans.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment with a national team of 300+ Psychologists & Counsellors.
