- Provide expert nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including acute hospital environments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that reflect current standards of nursing practice and NSW Health policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical practice, knowledge, and ability as an Instrument and Circulating nurse in the Peri-operative environment.
- Proven clinical problem-solving skills to maximize patient care.
- Effective clinical communication skills, including the use of information technology and written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment, providing outcome-based care.
- Flexibility to participate in a seven-day rotating roster, including public holidays and an on-call roster.
