Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently process end-to-end payroll functions, maintaining data integrity and ensuring all payments are made on time.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee records in accordance with HR or Industrial Relations teams' instructions.
  • Review pay journals and reports meticulously to confirm correct payments, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Closely collaborate with other payroll team members to achieve shared objectives and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed banking packs for approval, ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Interpret enterprise agreements (EAs) and implement their requirements within the payroll system.
  • Import time data into payroll systems and review retroactive transactions to ensure accuracy in historical adjustments.

  • Demonstrated experience in numeracy-heavy roles, preferably in payroll or finance, where accuracy is paramount.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.
