Job Description:
The Payroll Manager will oversee the full payroll cycle across all Australian entities, including monthly and ad hoc payrolls. They will collaborate closely with outsourced payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Key responsibilities include setting up employees correctly in the payroll system, managing payroll calculations and reconciliations, performing leave reconciliations, and verifying casual hours in consultation with relevant segment managers.
The Payroll Manager will also interpret and apply relevant employment legislation, process statutory payments and reports, maintain payroll compliance and internal controls, and act as a primary contact for employee payroll-related inquiries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years' end-to-end payroll experience within medium to large corporate environments in Australia
- Proven experience managing outsourced payroll providers and vendor relationships
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
