Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Officer to join our team at South East Regional Hospital. As a Medical Officer, you will provide quality care to patients in a complex clinical environment. You will work with permanent specialist physicians with expanded skills in gastroenterology, cardiology, and obstetric medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care to patients in a complex clinical environment
  • Work with permanent specialist physicians with expanded skills in gastroenterology, cardiology, and obstetric medicine
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide patient care
  • Develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category
  • At least three years' post graduate experience in public hospital service (or equivalent) and previous experience in a medical department relevant to the position
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
