Health and Safety Specialist

The Workplace Health position plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive safety culture across the business.

  • Assisting in implementing corporate health and safety standards
  • Training operations on key corporate standards
  • Leading, coaching, and supporting operational managers with proactive strategies based on analysis of information and culture survey results
  • Maintaining and guiding operations on health and safety management policies and procedures
  • SUPPORTING MANAGERS IN INCIDENT REPORTING AND INVESTIGATIONS

For this critical role, candidates are required to possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety or a related field, previous experience in WHS partnering, and a strong understanding of National heavy vehicle regulations and Chain of responsibility. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work flexibly and influence positive outcomes.
