Workplace Health and Safety Professional

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Workplace Health and Safety Coordinator.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide WHS training and support, working in a permanent part-time capacity.

About the Role

You will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety within our organisation, striving to continually improve employee, patient and business outcomes in line with national guidelines and regulatory requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Desirable Qualifications

The following qualifications would be highly regarded:

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Previous experience in the healthcare sector or another large organisation
