The Human Resources Administration role is a key position within the organization, supporting the HR Manager and Senior Deputy Principal in maintaining the day-to-day administration of the department. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative support, utilizing exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills to meet the needs of the School's staff and students.

  • Provide comprehensive administration support for all generalist human resource functions, collaborating with the HR Manager to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Respond promptly to HR enquiries, escalating matters to the HR Manager as necessary, to maintain accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Contribute to the preparation of HR documentation and correspondence, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Input and update employee data in the School's database system, including confidential correspondence.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy employee records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Perform compliance screening for VISAs, WWCC and NESA checks, verifying accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes, fostering best practices and industry standards.
  • Generate staff correspondence, including contracts, changes to employment, leave letters, and other important notifications.

This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal abilities. The ideal candidate will possess experience in contemporary HR management processes and practices, with a minimum of 5 years' administration experience, preferably in an educational setting. They should also be proficient in data management systems, customer relationship management software, and portal/web maintenance.

The successful candidate will be adaptable, flexible, and able to prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously. They must demonstrate a calm and professional demeanor, especially under pressure, and maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times. A sense of humor and passion for working in a collaborative environment are highly valued.
