Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at MMG Rosebery in Tasmania.

About the Role

The Human Resources Business Partner will provide operational HR and employee relations advice to support the success of our Rosebery Mine operation. This role will involve coaching leaders on people matters, engaging with operations and functional leadership teams, and providing advice and support to managers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR and employee relations advice on matters relating to employment terms and conditions, employment legislation, and industrial instruments/awards.
  • Coach leaders on change, communications, culture, and performance.
  • Engage with Operations and Functional Leadership Teams to enhance workforce productivity.
  • Assist with maintaining employee records and compliance controls.
  • Provide advice and support to managers and employees on remuneration systems.
Requirements
  • Strong site-based Human Resources experience or similar.
  • Experience interpreting and negotiating Enterprise Agreements.
  • Experience and confidence liaising with Unions and other third-party organisations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and management skills with the ability to lead, influence, and motivate teams.
  • High level of conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement strategies and improvements.
