Job Title: Human Resource Business Partner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join our team at MMG Rosebery. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide strategic HR support to our operations and drive the execution of HR initiatives to align with our business goals.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide operational HR and employee relations advice on matters relating to employment terms and conditions, including employment legislation and industrial instruments.
  • Coach leaders on change management, culture, and communication initiatives.
  • Actively engage with Operations and Functional Leadership Teams to leverage systems and processes to enhance workforce productivity.
  • Assist leaders in ensuring that all employee grievance and discipline issues are managed per MMG standards and procedures.
  • Assist line management with the phases of the performance management process, including setting SMART objectives, providing resources, measuring, and appraising performance development.
  • Provide advice and support to managers, supervisors, and employees on the key principles of MMG's remuneration system.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in HR, ER, IR, or a business-related field (preferred).
  • HR Business Partner experience in a site-based role working in a mining company.
  • Experience interpreting and negotiating Enterprise Agreements.
  • Experience liaising with Union and other third-party organizations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and management skills with the ability to lead, influence, and motivate teams of professionals.
  • High level of conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement strategies and improvements.
