Job Description

As a skilled Personal Carer Coach, you will play a vital role in empowering caregivers to deliver exceptional care to clients.

The structure of this role includes:

  • Providing guidance and support to caregivers to assist them in delivering quality care
  • Offering a supportive environment for caregivers to share their experiences, concerns, and emotions, and providing advice and encouragement
  • Conducting training on client-specific requirements and equipment in the client's home
  • Tracking the progress of caregivers, providing feedback and adjustments to ensure quality of care

This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate caregivers. You will work closely with caregivers to address their concerns, provide personalized coaching, and offer practical solutions to enhance their caregiving experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aged care, with exposure to dementia care, palliative care, and end-of-life care
  • Cert III in Individual Support (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in using equipment related to aged care (lifting hoists, mobility, disability, and rehabilitation equipment)
