The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled procurement expert to join our busy and growing Procurement team. The Procurement function is expanding its capabilities and maturity while operating in a manual environment. We are overhauling our processes to improve skills, processes, and systems, and this role will play a key part in driving this transformation.

As a Procurement Transformation Specialist, you will work closely with the Group Procurement Manager to drive the transformation agenda, bringing standardisation and maturity to the function. Your key responsibilities will include driving improvements of Procurement templates, processes, and governance, and working with the Procurement Manager to increase the maturity of the Procurement function.

Key Requirements

  • Assist with escalations, project, and BAU issues from the Procurement team.
  • Drive improvements of Procurement templates, process, and governance.
  • Assist in the development of the future state of the Procurement function, using knowledge of procurement systems and best practice Procurement processes and tools.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Manager to increase the maturity of the Procurement function from strategy to improved performance and vendor management.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of category management strategies and templates.

Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent knowledge and experience in end-to-end procurement process and technologies, including SAP and other procurement tools and platforms.
  • Excellent strategic and transactional sourcing and procurement experience across a wide range of categories.
  • Exposure and familiarity with end-to-end Facilities Management from leasing and property to ongoing maintenance.
  • Sound commercial acumen accompanied by proven contract and legal negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills at all levels within the organisation and with external stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Organisation and people skills with the ability to set priorities, problem solve, multitask, and work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
