Compensation Package

We offer an attractive salary package, commensurate with industry standards, to successful candidates. The estimated annual salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled procurement expert to join our busy and growing Procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the transformation agenda and bringing standardization and maturity to our function. You will work closely with the Group Procurement Manager to review processes, tools, and technologies, lift team capability, and manage some Business As Usual (BAU) and category activity.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with escalations, project, and BAU issues from the Procurement team.
  • Driving improvements of Procurement templates, process, and governance.
  • With a good knowledge of procurement systems and best practices, assisting in the development of the future state.
  • Working closely with the Procurement Manager to increase the maturity of the Procurement function from strategy to improved performance and vendor management.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of category management strategies and templates.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Excellent knowledge and experience in end-to-end procurement processes and technologies, including SAP and other procurement tools and platforms.
  • Excellent strategic and transactional sourcing and procurement experience across a wide range of categories.
  • Exposure and familiarity with end-to-end Facilities Management from leasing and property to ongoing maintenance.
  • Sound commercial acumen accompanied by proven contract and legal negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
