Job Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team of fitters in maintaining one of our largest organics processing facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and hands-on professional to take the lead in ensuring smooth day-to-day maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of fitters responsible for fixed plant maintenance
  • Develop and coordinate daily maintenance plans with the Maintenance Planner
  • Oversee purchasing of consumables and inventory parts
  • Allocate resources and manage workloads to meet operational demands
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
  • Liaise with stakeholders across operations, electrical, and engineering teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven supervisory experience within a large industrial or processing facility
  • Relevant trade or technical qualification (e.g. Fitter, Boilermaker, or Engineering background)
  • Strong knowledge of fixed plant equipment
  • Strong computer skills (experience using JDE and Coupa systems is a plus)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong safety focus and ability to work collaboratively across departments
