Engineering Community Outreach Specialist

This role supports program managers and senior officers by coordinating activities targeting underrepresented groups in the engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement community engagement initiatives targeting women, non-binary individuals, people from low socioeconomic status backgrounds, UNSW Gateway schools, remote areas, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Establish partnerships with universities and external stakeholders to enhance collective impact.
- Oversee project planning and development, contributing to key initiative planning as required.
- Monitor and report on project deliverables, ensuring time, cost, and quality metrics align with approved plans.
- Provide strategic guidance on attracting and retaining students from underrepresented cohorts in Engineering.
- Design effective marketing and communications strategies for underrepresented cohorts and relevant communities.
- Ability to coordinate and implement community engagement initiatives.
