Investigations Leadership Opportunity

About the Role

This leadership position oversees BOQ's Group Investigations function, protecting the bank by running investigations, identifying fraud risks and strengthening relationships with law enforcement and external agencies.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic leadership of BOQ's Group Investigations function.
  • Oversee investigations into internal and whistleblower matters; lead fraud detection across mortgage and other products.
  • Prepare reports for Executive review; attend court hearings when needed; represent BOQ in legal proceedings.
  • Lead engagement with external stakeholders including law enforcement and industry bodies; support Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Fraud Management policies.
Requirements

You are a self-starter with many years' experience in investigations, fraud, financial crime or anti-bribery and corruption. You've worked with law enforcement or regulators, and you're confident navigating sensitive data, legal processes and complex risk environments. Strong leadership, knowledge of banking products, risk frameworks and investigative techniques.
