About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading Australian law firm with a strong reputation across corporate and commercial law. They deliver outstanding legal services to a wide range of corporate, public sector, and private clients, both Australian-based and international.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on domestic and international corporate/M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting, and negotiating acquisition and disposal documents.
  • Managing cross-border transactions, joint ventures, and foreign investment regulatory approvals.
  • Advising on corporate governance, corporate restructuring, licensing, and general contracting arrangements.
  • Collaborating with senior lawyers on complex, high-value matters.
  • Building strong relationships with listed companies, insurers, financial institutions, private equity-backed businesses, capital providers, and large private companies.
  • Supervising, mentoring, and supporting junior lawyers within the team.

Requirements

To be eligible to apply, you must have Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency, or unrestricted work rights. You will have minimum 5 years' post-admission experience in corporate & commercial law, ideally within a large national or international firm. Your skills will include strong technical, analytical, and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail. You will also be able to manage complex domestic and international corporate matters while building strong client relationships. A collaborative, proactive approach with experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers is essential.
