Warehouse Manager Position
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations. This includes ensuring safety and efficiency across receiving, storage, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:- Leverage leadership skills to motivate and direct a team of staff members
- Develop and implement effective rostering and training strategies
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance with relevant regulations
- Manage inventory control systems and optimize stock levels
- Monitor and minimize operational costs and errors
- Collaborate with internal teams, transport providers, suppliers, and customers
- Foster open communication by producing regular reports on performance metrics
- A valid LF Forklift License is mandatory
- Experience operating high-reach forklifts is highly beneficial
- Proficiency in truck loading and unloading processes, especially with Mezz deck and B Double trailers
- Proven track record of leadership experience in warehouse or distribution settings
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse standards, safety protocols, and operational best practices
- Ability to effectively manage rosters, budgets, and staff performance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential
- Able to create a positive, professional, and productive work environment
