
Community Tenancy Specialist

As a Housing Officer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tenancy and property management services for our organisation. This includes conducting property inspections, allocating vacant properties, collecting rent and managing arrears, and coordinating lease and rent reviews.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including government departments, clients, and support agencies. In addition to your technical skills and experience, we are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable people in the community.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in providing client-focused tenancy management services;
- A solid understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act;
- Relevant skills and experience in working sensitively with a diverse customer group, including those who are in housing crisis;
- Confidence in liaising with various stakeholders, including vulnerable people;
- A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a caring and empathetic nature;
- Previous experience working on MS Office programs;
- A current driver's license;
