Security Leadership Role

A key position exists for an experienced security professional to reinforce our cloud-native healthcare SaaS platform's security posture.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance the security controls, applications, and infrastructure of a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with internationally recognized security standards, including ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and the Australian Privacy Act.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Perform thorough risk assessments for new and existing systems, vendors, and processes.
  • Coordinate penetration testing engagements and facilitate timely remediation efforts.
  • Implement scalable security best practices in a cloud-first SaaS environment, focusing on infrastructure and endpoint security.
  • Monitor security logs, alerts, and controls, escalating incidents as necessary.
  • Design and deliver security awareness programs for technical and non-technical teams.
  • Establish and execute security strategies that support business goals.
  • Produce regular security event reports, incident response metrics, and operational risk summaries for management.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior security role within a SaaS or cloud-based environment.
  • Proven expertise in implementing ISO 27001 or similar information security management systems.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, and the Australian Privacy Act, along with practical implementation knowledge.
