Senior Security Analyst Role Summary

This is a key position within our technical leadership team, requiring a skilled security professional to protect and maintain the compliance of our cloud-native healthcare SaaS platform.

About This Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to strengthen our security posture across infrastructure, applications, and operations in a highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and the Australian Privacy Act.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
  • Perform regular security risk assessments for new and existing systems, vendors, and processes.
  • Implement and maintain scalable infrastructure and endpoint security best practices in a cloud-first SaaS environment.
  • Coordinate third-party penetration/security testing engagements, manage vulnerability assessments, and ensure timely remediation.
  • Deliver security awareness and training programs to technical and non-technical teams.
  • Analyse emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits to assess their potential impact on the organisation.
  • Engage with executive leadership to align security strategy with business objectives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in information security, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in security policy development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Proven track record of performing comprehensive security risk assessments and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
