Paxus is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Expert to lead the development and implementation of security architectures and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand program requirements and security needs
  • Design and configure cloud components to align with recognized security baselines and best practices
  • Implement and maintain security controls to protect internal programs from cyber threats
  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions
  • Develop processes for monitoring security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents promptly
  • Collaborate with security team members to develop and implement security policies and procedures
  • Provide security guidance and support to development teams to ensure the secure design and implementation of internal programs

The successful candidate will have experience in cloud technologies, focusing on security engineering, and a strong understanding of security frameworks and standards. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate security-related concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years in cloud security, focusing on security engineering
  • Experience configuring cloud components to align with recognized security baselines
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO, CIS, SACSF, ISM
  • Excellence in technical concepts with a demonstrated commitment to expanding knowledge
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques
