Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative at Oberweis, you will provide excellent customer service in a timely manner. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that customers receive accurate and efficient service while handling orders.
We are seeking individuals who possess strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience in retail or food service, we encourage you to apply for this role.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers about our products.
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the store to create a positive shopping environment.
- Communicating with other team members regarding product quality, shortages, and customer feedback.
- Accurately assembling orders and packaging them for take-out.
- Ringing up orders and making change accurately.
To excel in this role, you must be able to:
- Bend, stoop, and reach to receive inventory, stock, serve customers, and clean the store.
- Stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods.
- Show basic computer skills.
- Read company materials, such as recipes and training documents.
Additionally, if you are applying for a position in Illinois, you will need to complete a food handlers course within 30 days of hire at your own expense.
